 We absolutely loved our real estate agent, Charlie Hallam- his demeanor is laid back and kind. He was a contractor for 22 years in LA doing high end homes so he has a great knowledge about houses and costs of renos. But now he has been a realtor up in the mountains for 17 years. Don't let his laid back demeanor fool you though- he is beyond on it, detail-oriented, thorough, and always working for you. He showed us 21 houses in 3 days- was willing to drive all over the mountains- we met him on a Friday and made an offer on the house we bought 6 days later. Escrow was so smooth and he is always available on email or the phone. I was calling him non-stop for the first 3 weeks and I never once got his VM. Can't say enough good things about him.

 Charlie was extremely helpful not only in the local knowledge but also in answering questions and returning calls. Since we had minor changes needed to our newly purchased condo he had a list of vetted contractors which we used to complete minor remodeling. Since we 2-hrs from our vacation condo, Charlie made himself available to get the contractors into the unit to perform the necessary tasks. Further, he was constantly aware of the closing process which allowed us to complete our purchase in less than 30-days.

Very easy to talk to yet professional at all times, and he did a great job customizing our home buying experience to get us our dream home!  Charlie is AWESOME. We bought a rental property in Crestline and he was really patient, helpful, and very insightful (he was a contractor and knows exactly how much a "repair" work could cost: usually much more thant what the seller agent says!)
